P-type Semiconductors conductivity | Ge doped P-type

P-type conductivity : The current conduction in an p-type semiconductor is predominantly by holes and is called p type conductivity. When potential difference is applied across the p-type semiconductors the holes will be directed towards the negative terminal, constituting hole current and the holes are shifted from one covalent to another. Therefore , this type of conductivity is known as p-type conductivity.
